Evolpedal is a versatile walking evolution simulator where lifeforms reproduce based on their ability to travel forward. After a while, the leading generations will have evolved their own methods of walking, crawling, jumping, or climbing no matter what the environment is.

Every movement they make is programmed in their virtual genes, all of which can change over time. Each segment connection can be expanded or contracted much like a muscle, each on 3 different individual genetic timers.

Different variations, or mutated children, will be tried until one of them passes the flag, becoming the new parent of the next generation. The number of Mutations per Child can be set, and each new lifeform will have exactly this many changes from the parent. With virtually limitless possibilities of lifeforms, complex walking patterns will arise over time.

Using the Build mode, you can add steps and walls for your lifeform to get over. Theoretically, with enough mutations and time, it should be able to get over any obstacle.

Setting the Round Timer will allow you to control how long each round is, giving lifeforms more or less time to pass the flag.

The simulation auto-saves after each round or if a setting is adjusted, so you can always come back to the same lifeform, settings, and environment as last time. Reset Game will clear your save data. Additionally, you can generate a New Lifeform without clearing your settings. Clearing the flag will cause whatever lifeform is present to "win", and spawn a new generation based on it.

Power controls the strength of the lifeform, the Min and Max size settings will keep each segment of a lifeform within those sizes, and Max Joints lets you limit the maximum number of parts per lifeform.

The Game Speed will allow the you to run the simulation faster than normal, but is still experimental, and may cause lifeforms to flatten.
