This is the initial release version of Fire line, for the Windows platform.
Fire Line is an interactive narrative where the player is left to observe the game before being allowed to
take control of the main protagonist in the final part of the game.
During the final part of the game, the player is enabled to execute a key gameplay decision
that is meant to question the relationship between player morality and the gameplay scenario,
through the use of common gameplay mechanics.
You can skip through and/or replay all the parts of the game by pressing keys 1-0 on your keyboard.
Gameplay instructions for the final part of the game are displayed at the start of the level.
Since this is an initial release, there may be some bugs.
Finally, Fire line requires that the user has some sort of .mov Apple Quicktime AVI compliant codec
installed on their system in order to enable the playback of rendered video in certain levels of the game.
A re-distributable copy of a recent version of the Apple Quicktime player is included with the game,
located in the “extras” folder.
I hope that you enjoy the Fire Line interactive narrative experience and that you take away something meaningful from it.
