Looks good, but not a fan of the screen freeze effect thou, hope I will be able to turn it off.
Btw, is not because it looks bad mind you, it looks very good, but because to me, is not realistic at all. At lest I don't know of someone that got their eyes frozen in on cold climate. So, unless in very specific cases, like using glasses and helmets and such, I'm not a fan of any screen effect that artificially diminishes the player vision. Most FPS devs, treat the player as a moving camera, instead of real human eyes, like IMO it should be and that, destroys the immersion to me. For example the Metro games does this very well, the only time you see on screen effects, is when the character is using the gaz mask.
Btw if you never played Cryostasis, imo you should, is not only a nice game on its own right, its cold/snow/freezing effects are imo very good, could give you some inspiration.
Hi Argoon, I know the game, I played it many years ago. Thank you for your comment and your feedback! Happy New Year!
Thanks for you too. :)
