Description
Vile is an action roguelite about fighting demonic creatures and other horrors throughout a vile world. Fight enemies and/or complete random objectives given to you in procedurally-generated dungeons to put a stop to the creatures forever! Collect souls, find new weapons and new artifacts! Use your souls to buy talents from 3 different talent trees!
History
We had played top-down shooters and thought that wouldn't it be cool if they had random objectives to spice up each level, talent trees, unique characters with two abilities to give the combat more depth, and more. The theme is inspired by Bloodborne since it has a cool style(Victorian Era Fantasy) that isn't done much these days.
Features
- Random objectives given at the start of the level to complete or just kill enemies to proceed
- Epic bosses that mean business
- Unique characters with two abilities to give the player plenty of options during enemy encounters
- Three different talent trees to purchase upgrades from!
- Local Co-op - Team up with a friend
- Find new weapons and artifacts
