Since Portal 1's soundscapes are still embedded within Portal 2 we're also using those where possible. I always preferred them.

we're trying to bring a Portal 1 aesthetic to Portal 2. I'd say we're coming along nicely.
It's supposed to be reminiscent of Portal 1's orange BTS lighting, but being applied to a Portal 2 "behind the wall" (or floor in this case).
Glad you like it.
"Good news: that is NOT a docking station. So there's one mystery solved."
They're using Hammer. This mod was started before the PTI was released and I don't even think as proper modders they'd even think of using the PTI to map.
This would be better suited on ModDB since this isn't an indie game- it's a mod.
Once the soundtrack is released?
a quick moddb search should probably fill this question.
I think all the test chambers are done and they're just spending a lot of time on the boss battle.
there are cubicles.
they're just not the stereotypical ones.
You've got potential.
this looks suspiciously similar to an office I did for Aperture's Hour...
yeah I kind of just rushed it.
i'm going to re do it.
Thanks for your feedback.
Since this was posted the whole hallway has been redone, and I took your advice. The ceiling is very detailed in the most recent version.
This is exactly what I always thought Aperture looked like outside.
Well done.
You should probably contact Razor about that.
Not sure at this point.
Thanks
I hope the mod progresses well within the next year.
Development is being passed on to another individual.
Don't worry, keep on rockin' Aperture's Hour fans :p
Just an update for anyone who may be reading this - the mod isn't dead, nothing like that. A lot of life and school has gotten in my way from working on it.
Thanks.
and this has what to do with this mod?
It's not dead we're just doing development without constantly posting updates.
Also, no aliens teleport into Aperture. The Rift isn't that big yet, and the combine come in after the cascade.
This seems like an interesting concept but the composition of the mod so far looks REALLY unprofessional.
If you're really determined to make a mod, act like it.
Yeah probably, I gotta find someone to edit the chair models we're using because right now they're not proper physics models.
