It fixed it!
Hi all, the instructions in the Word readme do not work for my Macbook Pro M1 Max Sonama.
However, once you download the mod files, copy and paste the files beginning with _it into the data folder, rather than replacing the whole folder - it works fine.
Then replace the campaign folder with the mod one.
It works!
Hi Ezra.
I downloaded the Empire II mod for my macbook pro 16 m1 max Sonoma and followed the instructions.
It crashed almost immediately. I don't even get to see the Feral page.
I suspect it could be an Apple thing, but the vanilla Steam version works fine.
I've tried the whole process again and again and again.
I don't want to admit defeat and I might find an answer that helps others.
Is there any way I can see the correct load of files for a successfully working Empire II in the following?:
• Library/ApplicationSupport/Steam/Steamapps/Common/EmpireTotalWar
• Library/ApplicationSupport/FeralInteractive/EmpireTotalWar/
These were the only folders listed in the instructions, which are a wee bit confusing for me (typical mac using non dev content designer). So I want to check I've done it right.
Thanks for all your work.
Matthew
Crashes after loading. Macbook Pro 16 M1 Sonoma.
Hi emplex. I'm having problems getting it to load at all on my mac.
Can't load it with steam and macbook pro 16 inch M1. Crashes the game. Tried 3 times following the instructions in the readme word file.
