Are your sound files placed correctly?
Like: "C:\...\WarThunder\sound\mod\*all sound files from the mod*"
Puma has the same sound as all armoured cars in Warthunder. Unfortunately is not possible to have different sound for each one, if I recall correctly
Because that was a huge advantage and some people consider it wallhack
Bug report: M41 internal sound missing
Definitely Gaijin messed up, most of the time the tank you drive sounds like the exterior sounds from other player tanks instead of its own sound.
I thought the new D10 sniper view sound was a bug and didn't sound properly, I feel the same as you, I think I liked the old one more. I miss old panther sound too :(
I like this rc2 b0ris, sounds nice to me.
Btw ferdinand sounds like the panzer iv, will you fix that for next release?
thanks!
Do you mean that they lack of some bass? B0ris added a bit of bass in the last patch for many gun sounds, try to voulme up your bass in windows equalizer.
Cheers.
Would you be able to hear a bomber while driving a tiger in real life? I dont know.. but tanks are VERY loud machines.
cheers.
I will try it tonight, but I must say that since I upgraded my computer (bought ssd drive) all missing sounds issues were solved.
About loud engines...yeah I said some time ago that tiger engines were a BIT loud compared to other tanks or engines (but only the tigers, the others are perfectly fine), but after some time I got used to it and I find it perfectly fine now, actually, I can spot enemy heavy tanks very quickly in realistic battles. Yeah, maybe they are a bit loud so you may think they are closer than they really are, but its all about getting used to it, no big deal.
I will give you my feedback when I try this "demo", also I remember that Ferdinand Elephant had wrong engine since last patch.
Thanks B0ris, Cheers!
U cant do that for the moment, or maybe you can by editing sound files, couldn't figure how to do that. But I think we will be able to do it easier since gaijin gave support for this mod.
We'll see.
What are your computer specs? I think its something related to RAM memory issue.
However, I had same problem with previous versions of the mod but now I that I installed an SSD drive, that problem never came back dunno why.
what file you opened and how you did it? What version of FMOD u have? I cant open any sound file with it
What is forced ventilation? I never heard about it. Can you tell me more about that? Thanks in advance!
Hey b0ris, today I tried the ferdinand and the vk (which share same engine sounds) and they sound like a panzer IV, I don't know if its a bug (because the ferdinand is dual maybach) or you simply made it that way.
Wow amazing!! Thank you all and Merry Christmas!
Amazing! Red Orchestra voices are superb
Cool I will try it later!
Thanks!
Yes that's what I mean. Maybe it takes longer in some low end computers and could be annoying. But that's the only way atm.
I'm thinking in something... Maybe we can save the original sound files in another folder, that way we can put them back anytime you want to play the game, so the launcher doesn't need to analyze the files again.
Then run aces.exe and put b0ris files.
Try it and tell me if it works.
Not working to me either.
My method is the only solution at the moment.
Unfortunately It's the only option for the moment. The whole operation takes less than 3 min to me, I also use a script to move mod files to the game folder.
Of course you can choose playing with vanilla sounds.
Cheers
