It'd be very nice to see a demo build of the early access version. I'm dying to play the new version..

You already can. Launch the game as an administrator, press tab in game, and viola; you can now map your controls! Have a problem? Map your controls in version 0.0.2 and then redownload 0.0.3. After launching 0.0.3, you can delete 0.0.2.
Press Tab on the main menu while running the game as an administrator. I have my version of Gang Beasts set to always run as an administrator in-case I ever have to re-map the controls.
Maybe the 5th then? xD
Fourth of July Steam Release Please? Every morning I check indiedb and Steam for the new update.. please xD
Please don't make this into a weeaboo game. Cool anyways, I guess.
In street, you can get out of the map. On wheel, the water ends when zoomed out. Will you fix this soon?
Of course it's safe!
-Every file on indiedb is virus-free.
-If your anti-virus program detects anything, it's a mistake. Let it through.
-Millions of people, literally, have downloaded Gang Beasts. I've yet to hear a complaint!
few weeks :3
Will the unity launcher persist in the Steam Version? I feel like it should be replaced with an options menu in-game.
Install WinRar first, then redownload Gang Beasts. Open it with WinRar, and then click extract all.
I hate to say it, but no. There will still be demos of the full version, but many things will be unavailable in the demo. It's also better to go ahead and buy the full version to support Boneloaf.
Could you specify which PlayStation controller you are attempting to use?
If you are using a PS3 controller, make sure it's plugged in, or connected via bluetooth. Run Gang Beasts as an administrator, calibrate, and try again.
If you are using a PS4 controller, download the DS4 program which causes your computer to treat the PS4 controller like an Xbox 360 controller, allowing you to use it in-game.
Along with Street, the Sandbox stage also has AI. Check the doors in the very back of the stage, and inside of the truck.
No. It's super active, and Boneloaf is working non-stop to make this game a success. The next update will come to both IndieDB and Steam. It will not be free, but there will be a demo. Expect a release this month or the next.
One last thing - could you note down some of the issues I notice in Gang Beasts? Things I notice tend to stay in my mind and it bugs me to watch them go unfixed. Not trying to bug you (no pun intended) or overwork you, but I'd like to see some of these problems fixed. Thanks for answering most of the time. :3
And also, will slopes be easier to walk up soon? The character's foot placement system isn't suited for them.
Examples of slopes = Sandbox ramp on the top-right corner, incinerator slope to get to the upper floor of the room, subway's broken escalators..
Will the climbing system be auto-activated on grab? I'm afraid of that. You should grab a building and hold taunt, at least. Always climbing will take away lots of fun.
You should edit the retry system. Sometimes when you press R (default key,) it won't reset. Pressing r multiple times will make the wait to retry longer. Also, if you retry after every player is out of lives, the camera will move to a random picture of the level.
Will there be a GIANT boss, like skyscraper size that you fight by standing on the roof? That'd be awesome, but I assume not, because this is Gang Beasts and not Grim Beasts. >.<
Also, could you make more enemies spawn depending on the amount of players? One new gang member for every extra player. This will allow the levels to have space, while making a decent difference between if a player will live or die.
Nice trailer. As the game continues in development you should make a more up to date one.
Could there be an implementation for bosses where they throw you off of them if you continue to grab or punch them? Like a hard punch that will knock you back a bit? And maybe a few new moves? I know it's early, but I want to see the bigger enemies and basically all AI become more threatening soon.
Run the game as an administrator, then press tab on the in-game menu.
Is v0.1.0 being released on Steam on June 1st? That's what I'm hoping for when you said "early june." Please say yes! :D Can't wait for you to shut up and take my money.
Right click on the .exe and click properties, then look for run as administrator. This way takes a few seconds longer than clicking it in the right click menu, but it ensures that you won't have to again.
How far will AI advancement go? I'd like to see them attempt to throw you off the map, but slowly, and attempt to dodge your punches and run when in danger. They should have better pathfinding, too.
