You are right, I was using an arbitrary value for the door delay
Open cons\defs.con and change the value of "D_Door_Delay" from "128" to "300"

Weird, that's a new problem that I couldn't notice in my computer.
I ****** up at the last minute 🤦
You should be able to just run the game
> And it enables vert. axis movement (walking forwards and backwards) using the mouse, disabling vert. sensitivity does nothing to stop this.
It was like that in Eduke32, I agree it's annoying.
If the view is not being centered automatically, here's a workaround:
Press ' to open the console menu, then type "setvar V_Center_View 1" (paste with right mouse button)
> Replace BJ's head on the auto-map with an arrow like in Duke 3D or Blood. Since it is disorienting (at least for me) to have BJ's head instead of an arrow. I never know in which direction I'm going.
There's a white arrow over BJ's head
It was like that in the Mac version, which I used for reference
> Support for Spear of Destiny mission packs Mission 2: Return to Danger and Mission 3: Ultimate Challenge
It's planned, but I think it will be an standalone installation, with the Spear of Destiny title screen and blue menus
No problem.
I just converted the music from the original game, they were in very low quality and it's only natural they have issues.
Does the audio crackling stop if you turn off the music in E1M10? Then I'm afraid that's just how the music is. :/
It's not dead. A huge update is coming. I have been busy with other projects, including Ion Fury.
Some of the changes in this version conflict with The Birth episode. And I choose to use unaltered map or CON files. :)
No, that port does not interest me. :(
Could you provide an example of walkthrough where this happen?
I have a huge update for this mod, actually. But it will take a while.
The mod didn't leak. The user is recreating the levels from scratch... and his work is very impressive.
The mod is taking... slow steps.
There's a fan-made replica of Quirk of Fate floating on Steam Workshop that's 95% accurate. It should give you an idea of what that level looks like. The rest of the levels are just copies of existing levels with slightly modifications.
The 5th episode is called Butt Kicking-Zone and contains the multiplayer levels. Only the first level is new (Quirk of Fate).
Late response, but technically yes. But it would take some work to figure out what should or shouldn't be included.
What? This is a free mod I have been working on my free time.
1 - Moddb.com
2 - I don't have control over such a thing. You may however move over the save files on your directory.
Sorry for the late response, but yes.
I suppose there are people more qualified than me for Doom modding.
Eduke32 currently doesn't support multiplayer. That's something beyond my power. The Deathmatch option is just a placeholder episode for the levels. And the player skins are not different in Duke Nukem 64.
Thanks. I have fixed these a while ago (but have not yet released a new version).
