Congrats with the well-deserved Top-100 entry! Great job R8R and SWAT team.
Congratulations Sushi and the team! A new Top-100 entry and well-deserved.
We are currently in the process of developing a new version (4.86).
Planet was named because Freelancer has naming convention based on real-world locations. I never lived near Erie, I'm from Russia, actually (which is reflected in my profile).
You can have two Freelancer installations and have two mods installed simultaneously, but you won't be able to use FLMM normally to de-activate mods in this case. Not that it's an issue if you got a clear game install backed up somewhere.
Depends on what you mean by a makeover. We're going to continue to release new versions, yes.
Gratz with Top-100 entry, well-deserved. Should try the new version when it's released.
Nice video, and congrats with the Top-100 entry!
We encourage to vote for as many mods for Freelancer as you wish. No matter which ones make it into Top-100, it's still benefitial for the game. The more the better.
This can't be done unfortunately. We don't provide translations into any languages other than English, it's just a task too large for indie team to accomplish.
We did. It can't be an addon for Freelancer due to obvious legal reasons though, and Discovery's main attraction is adding upon existing Freelancer universe.
If the file is corrupt, you must check your FL installation, FLMM installation, and mod download itself.
Since 4.85 single player campaign is not supported. When you start a new game Open SP game will start, where you'll be able to play single and do things like trading/missions/etc. No storyline though.
Translate what exactly?
Try launching FLMM once or twice first. Maybe file extension isn't processed correctly.
There's no way you can use original game saves with Discovery, and readme.txt warns about this. Loading saves not created with Discovery (preferably same version) will cause crashes.
The server may impact how battleship spinning performs, so it's better to check integrity of serverside installation. Character files can't be directly responsible.
Try to re-download the mod, and don't use FLMM 1.4. We explicitly tell everywhere that previous FLMM version (1.3) must be used instead.
Not quite sure, "latest" FLMM version (1.4) is also the buggiest. We released versions for it long ago, but then dropped support. Game reinstall should help, and use FLMM 1.3 in future.
Code is generated randomly, it's your identifyer. You need to save somehow if you wish to reinstall Windows, otherwise you don't get access to your player files later.
About installation: follow instructions listed in the download description, or in the readme.txt.
Your FL installation is corrupt, it's better to re-install the game completely.
Changing damage and speed rates on own PC, and attempts to play online, will result in ban for cheating, that's it.
And yes, that's how Freelancer works. Digital Anvil didn't have time to patch the game beyond version 1.1, which fixed only the most major issues.
Try to remove ENBSeries mod if you enabled it (remove d3d8.dll from Freelancer\EXE folder).
Otherwise, the installation may be corrupt, FLMM is far from ideal on this regard.
Yes, probably.
Before that, you may try to disable ENBSeries mod (remove d3d8.dll from Freelancer\EXE folder) if you enabled it.
I saw you were requesting info in Chinese, not sure what to propose actually. All necessary info is in the mod's readme, other sources are less detailed.
