I just turned down the resolution and it is not your HUD that is broken, but the HUD-scaling, since you don't have high-resolution versions of it. So at least it is still playable in 1280x720. I wish I knew how to operate sprite wizard lol haha. but yea, other than that, ur mod is the only one (at least on the list I made) that kinda doesn't work with the new update...although it does, at a lower rez. The only actual broken one now would be heart of evil_ napalm edition lol

IMMEDIALY encountered a bug. had to restart. Guy in the line in front of me wouldn't move at all
nvm I was wrong. I replayed and found that the ropes stay active, even at 240 hertz^^ I wish valve would finally give that kind of attention to the HL1 expansions. or to Hl1 itself lol
hello! I was wondering if you were gonna update POV. it works well with the 25th anniversary update, only the crosshair just doesn't appear, and the HUD is not scaled for higher resolutions :)
sad. so ur not updating the game so the HUD displays properly in the 25th anniversary edition.

if there were no ropes in mod we could unlock the fps permanantly :(
also, what's new? big or small update? propably optimized for the 25th anniversary as well :)
could you also give back the invisible walls? like right at the start of dy_accident1 for example,after the door is opened, there should be invisible walls.
or in dy_dampen, when you crank up both the secondary dampening locks. can be very easy to fall down there and take fall damage sadly.
oh, and, if possible, I'd like to also have the PS2 training room with the small extra bit, like that intro scene with the scientists and the auto-aim practise. just for completion. would be really cool!"
wonderful! could you update the steam version tho? to draw/use the new 25th anniversary menu. has a ton of benefits, like the widescreen fix and generally being a way better menu

Either way. swapping back to the other version is real dangerous and not very good for most ppl^^
Amazing Mod. Some small issues, like the animation on the HEV chargers always looking inactive, the music not playing for me and the laser-puzzle (I wouldn't have minded going back and forth a bit, instead of having that puzzle nearly entirely cut).
I'd also like for the Decay-HUD to be deleted, so the mod can draw the (nearly identical) HUD from HL1, which has been scaled for up-to at least 4k.
When you load a save file in "Xen Attacks", some of the specific restrictions also get un-done, and you are able to suddenly carry weapons. Would like that fixed too, if possible.
hello. might I ask if you are going to update this mod, to bring it up to the status of 2023?
like either scaling the HUD to the standard of the new 25th anniversary version, or allowing to toggle the HL1 HUD for this.
or implementing the 2019 change of the NPC turn-rate no longer being bound to the frame rate (so I can unlock the FPS and play this at more than 72)
or add controller support (most HL1 mods work with controller, but for some reason in echoes, I am unable to move)

why tho? it's also in the same series. if you wanna play redridge, this is the first part before that. and it no longer works with the new update. it's only the HUD that is broken
you'll have to right click on Half-Life in the steam library, go to betas and use the pre-25th-anniversary-update legacy build
um. this gonna be updated to work with the 25th anniversary update? dont wanna revert to the old one.and it crashes when I click new game or load game
what do you mean you just remake it? I don't see it in the version I downloaded. doesn't work with the new steam anniversary version
Hello. Since valves 25th anniversary update, the weaponwheel is kinda messed up. It would be nice if you can re-make it on the basis of the new one, so it also scales for high resoltion. idk if that is possible now, or when the new SDK releases, or, well, not at all haha. I'm a noob. just wanted to report on that issue.
just picking up the revolver for example does not show the revolver icon in the top left corner, but instead shows ALL the crosshairs lined up. either that happens, or the game crashes when trying to pick up the revolver.
the rest of the HUD does not show up at all.
Now I know I can go back to the pre-25th anniversary version, but not everyone will know that tbh, and that version does not include a high-resolution scaled weoponwheel nor the scaled text.
Hello. I just wanted to say that I love Half-Life: Echoes and was wondering if it could receive some of valves fixes, maybe if they release the SDK or something?
Like the HUD-scaling, the NPC-turn-rate and the push-able entities not being framerate dependant, and the new menu, etc?
I'd really love support for my all time favorite favorite HL1 mod :)
