I'm not planning.
Hi, sorry but I can't. I was glad that I could even finish this map.
You might need to change the resolution to default (800x600 or any 4:3) in the options, then load the level. After that it should work with your current resolution. That's the only thing I found that can crash the game on certain levels.
Checked with both 1.32 and 1.42d both loaded the map without any problem.
When you tried to load the map, did it give any error?
If it can't find maps/voxelstein.bsp maybe the downloaded file got corrupted.
Even with this console command? spmap voxelstein
Thanks, did a quick fix with a texture.
A folder was missing in the pk3 file.
It's just a simple horror game that uses some HeXen assets, you have to find a glowing object (sword piece) on every level then find the lit up exit while avoiding enemies.
It's about 5-15 minutes long, depending on the difficulty level, number of retries.
Did you try it on the Atomic Edition, v1.5?
v1.4 might work, v1.3 and older will give errors, since it's completely different.
If you want to add other levels to this, then yes.
What do you mean? Did I post this into the wrong section or something about the sample scm file?
I was just experimenting with this. I don't plan other levels.
If you climb the broken lamp in the big room the secret should open.
Here's my walkthrough with all secrets at 4:57:
It was mostly grid counting, both engines are similar in that. I only had to double every size in GTK Radiant. The rest was easier.
It's a freeware game with bad controls. It uses a lot of Half-Life sounds and graphics: Youtube.com
You can download the game from here, (it only supports 640x480 resolution): Caiman.us
Only this level was planned. Just wanted to try making it for this and some other games to see how it would look like, and if the game can handle the original map's features.
If you look up, there will be a hole in the ceiling. You can escape there. Maybe I should've used swimmable slime.
It's an archive file like a .zip
You should be able to extract it with 7zip: 7-zip.org
You can download the editor from here:
Legacy.3drealms.com
You might need to change your game's path to no special characters or spaces, otherwise the editor won't save your maps.
For ex.:
This won't save
D:\Duke Nukem MP
But this will:
D:\DukeNukemMP
Some basic info about the editor:
Duke64nukem.com
Maybe. It depends. If I find something interesting and feel like it.
It should be max 1 or 2 hour, because there is no saving in the original.
Maybe 2 castles, at least I got a different castle after messing with the game files. I haven't played this game through properly yet.
The original is long, because you need to rescue 3 prisoners, then blow up the castle. The problem is that you need to replay the same castle in 4 missions. Also you can softlock yourself if you enter the basement without any keys.
Tried copying to the C drive even with less file permissions the level loaded with the bat file, I have the files like this:
Imgur.com
If nothing helps, try making a shortcut from WolfSP.exe, then add these parameters:
+set fs_game eagles +set nextmap "spmap eagles"
I have version 1.32 (May 1 2002), but it shouldn't matter. Also I don't have any other addons/mods installed.
Hello vicpas. I'm currently working on the second level. There will be 4 levels with this included.
You can skip the readme files, they are not needed in the game folder.
Maybe the game couldn't make a new config file? Is your game installed on the C or system drive? for ex: C:\Program Files? Otherwise it should work or worst case with running the bat file as admin.
Your game folder should look like this after extracting:
Docs
eagles (this contains the eagles.pk3 file)
Main
Uninstall
...
eagles.bat
...
WolfSP.exe
WolfMP.exe
The map should load after running eagles.bat.
If this does not work just copy eagles.pk3 to the game's "Main" folder and start the game normally. You will only miss the briefing and notebook texts all other stuff should work normally.
In the console put: spmap eagles
It's a little different. You need to put the eagles.bat file and the folder where your WolfSP.exe is located. Outside the game's "Main" folder.
Thanks! For some reason that line ignores objective check.
It works properly after I added this before the changelevel:
accum 0 abort_if_equal 0
1. I planned to make all floors, there are 3 more in the game.
2. Thanks, I thought the map was too easy so I neved added more health pickups than in the original game
3. I'll look into it, it seems setting the HP to 0 does not trigger it
4. Originally I did that, but it removed the Exit indicator
