Wow I can't wait to try it out!
Cool to see some action. The drifting kinda reminds me of that old Screamer game.
However, it feels weird to watch a retro game without the scenery popping up all the time!
These puzzles are great, but why doesn't the game save your progress?
I can't remember which map I'm on.
I don't know why, but I missed the ore silo.
Speaking of ore, harvesting seems to be a pain in the ***.
Also at one point some tanks got stuck in a bridge, tilting 90 degrees inward?
And finally, the sovjet dog has it's sounds for selection and movement switched.
Other than that, it's perfect!
That was a nice tune in the end!
So now I'm finally home and now map 2 and 3 are missing? :(
whoa this looks awesomely retro! Kinda reminds me of the old Test Drive games. Tracking!
I liked it, even though its short. The additional voice sounded good but I couldn't understand much of it. Also I didn't know the objective until I saw it. The ending caught me a bit by surprise, which is a good thing.
The text should definitely get reworked. What I see now is just a rough cut out of the logo that has been sharpened too much and is full of visual artifacts.
But that also applied to some things in game, like when you choose sides from the main menu.
Thirded. The shockwave would have made it look like it has more impact, even though its still C&C where the blast radius was tiny (or even square lol). I'm pretty sure you can manage those little things.
Other than that, its looking great you guys. I'm so glad Renegade is getting a facelift into the future!
Downloading @ max speed WOOO
I sure hope the sequel to Abandoned is there too!
Great composer, great game. Thanks for sharing!
That would fit for more for Red Alert. How about a civilian bunker or something? It would make more sense to be able to 'influence' the brotherhood on them.
I thought installers would look for the file location in your systems registry. To prevent piracy etc.
Wooooooooooo!
So I'm always checking this mod since a long time because its awesome. I think I like the experimental 'upgraded' sides that you can pick at a skirmish game, but arent they too easy? That aside, let me note some faults that I found lately.
In the GDI commando mission, there's a nod powerplant floating above its base outside the level border. (I hope you finish the remaining missions faster than the bugs/glitches though!)
I noticed that the Black Hand had a Stealth Fighter. It said it needed a Temple of Nod, and a Temple of Nod! You know what I mean right.
And for the last bit, it sucks that you need a 'normal' powerplant in order to build other stuff. It contradicts with the building technology.
Anyways, I'm still enjoying this :) Hope you can fix those issues in the next release. I'll be waiting for it.
Found some interesting glitches, at a high resolution the glow from the top of the screen gets cut off. Also, in the GDI commando mission, there's a power plant floating outside the level border north of the Nod base.
Oh man, games used to be like THIS. Think of places to hide instead of think what gun to use.
Looks great and all, but I'm not sure about the puzzle elements. I saw some bright colors and a low-poly clock ticking, and those just gave the puzzles away to me (in the way they are too noticable) but **** it, I shouldnt criticize about this right before the release
RA2 engine? Anyway this gameengine should have no problems with this on computers nowadays.
Looks more colorful. I think that's the biggest difference. Looks awesome either way.
Actually, green on green is just not a good idea. But hey I'm here to watch the mod, not the wallpapers :)
The fontcolor makes it annoying to read. Nice picture though.
Seems that most people here don't read comics. Makes sense to me :)
The bricks in the wall (as seen on the left) should be worked on. Looks very unrealistic with the bump.
Aside from that, I'll agree with the rest.
Why does it say Half-Life 2 mod while its actually for CSS?
