fair, but when there are only a few images to go off of in the first place, I think taking creative liberties are okay.
When deciding which model to use. A lot of the replacement models for our other assets have also been textured by kharak, and so we believed it'd be best to stick with that visual consistency.
EaWx created their own model. This one was created by Kharak.
Neutron Star Cruiser is a confirmed addition, the same as the Gladiator. I think we'll avoid the praetor and the Tector, as the operator is a design the team doesn't like and we currently don't see a need for the tector.
IMO, it looks better with the extension.

We have had some talks on how the Recusant dreadnought would be implemented; we are unsure, though, how exactly we'd do it, and so until we fully figure that out, we probably would obtain from adding it. It's definitely not out of the cards though.

For sure! The art style looks really clean, and professional and highlights what your mod has to offer (vanilla feel while also being unique in its own way), which there aren't many good classic mods anymore, so it's really nice to see. I might even take some notes from you on it and borrow a few concepts if you don't mind :) (of course if you do I'd respect that too)

I guess, but even then it's not as tanky as it could be to properly fill that role (this is all being based on 4.1 knowledge though). I also can't remember if it spawns fighters or not, that might be a good way to increase the balance a little bit.
Do you think you'll buff the Venator a little bit? At least in 4.1 it didn't have any turbo lasers, making it weak against anything larger than a small frigate, while the Arquintens has at least 2, making them more viable in battle.
I see what you mean by too many rebel heroes now lol. Still looks great though! We need to find some more heroes for the Zann though
An idea that I had for the Rebel heroes, is maybe you could, after the tech they're meant to be in, switch them from a major to a minor hero where if they die, they're permanently gone, this allows you to still keep them in check, while also giving players a chance to have heroes like Raddus and Ackbar fight side by side if you play smart enough.

We do have renders of the new assets shared on our discord! Currently none of the CIS ships have been completed yet.
I don't want to spoil too much on certain plans, but the police cruiser might see itself in-game in some form.
It's tough to say as the recent Petrogliph updates to Steam have made modding the game much easier. We've discussed maybe releasing legacy editions of each update once we release the next one, but idk how well that would work for non-steam users either way. I think there is hope, but I also believe that steam is the way to go for a lot of mods nowadays.
There have been talks about maybe releasing a manual unsupported legacy edition for 1.3 once we release 1.4. We do suggest getting Steam if you're able to though, as the more recent updates to the base game have helped a lot in assisting modders.
B2 Rocket troopers have been discussed. There are no official plans but two likely scenarios for the rocket trooper are either having it be the primary rocket trooper of the CIS, and purely be able to use missiles (For balance purposes that is) or having it, at a specific tech, replace the b2 to a rocket b2 with an ability like you mentioned (and you can no long build the normal b2s like phase 2 troopers)
Umbara is planned. We want to include a lot of the umbaran vehicles from the TCW arc so we're taking it slow to make sure we get it right.
not really, I just know that we haven't been engaging as much, and we're also behind with our original expected release of 1.4.
I think both the grey and the red are a tiny bit lighter than the venators, but I think that's accurate to lore, as the republic red hasn't been consistent.
I'm waiting on just a few more things, but we'll hopefully get some in-game shots of 1.4 content in the next few weeks.
