Well, we plan to enter the competition with a 2-3 stage demo in I think August next year for the final stage of the competition. The winner gets a licence to use Unreal Engine to publish a game, so yeah I guess id try get it on shelves if possible.
But in saying that its a big task and there are some GREAT teams out there. For now we'll just keep working away at this for ourselves and see how we do. (^__^)

Cheers for the input, but the game design is pretty much already decided. Stealth will be a key part of the game so the UE3 AI will play a large role. We wont be speeding up time as you suggested. This is a realistic Stealth simulation. Time will go as normal and most missions will be during the early morning, sunset and the cover of night.
No mocap and thanks :P
Though the in game animations will be a lot better.

yeah I think its just that time of year where everyone has been abit busy. Uni, jobs ect.. But I'm sure things will be moving well again (^__^) THe story and plot are coming together well. I think players will really enjoy the game.

Nah not dead at all. We've just been busy lately. As this is our part time project some times we will be side tracked. Im moving overseas shortly so that takes up alot of my time. But anyways I'll be looking at getting things back up and running asap!

Sorry another question, as this sounds interesting is will it be more realistic sword technique based or will they be slashing giant beams of light and dashing at sonic speeds?
Are you going to make up characters or use actual swordsman like Miyamoto Musashi and Yagyu Jubei etc?

I think quite a few people dont realise the reason we have this page. We're basicly putting up any steps we make in this game to show the community. Similar to our blog but abit more basic. So people dont need to ask why models look basic and why screen shots are small etc. What we show we show (^__^) As the game progresses and higher quality models are placed in map then we will post nicer shots etc.
We do appreciate peoples interest, but please realise we are showing a step by step MOD in the making. Our methods may be different then others, but this is the path we've decided to take.

Hehe fair enough, most of em are just work in progress pictures at the moment. A lot of the current model will be changed out etc. Done worry though, once we have more to show we'll make them High Def (^__^)
Textures for the Backgrounds and walls etc that is. The building models will be switched out for final versions.
