That would look so cool with some realtime graphics on the screen, maybe rendered out with a second camera and displayed on that surface, emulating what they did in the show! Although, you could also do pre-rendered video for pointed presentations.

Wow! This looks great. You've noticed the tiles on the floor are raised due to the rubber mats they used on the show. And there's a distinct green tinge to the blacks that's present in several episodes.

The lighting here looks great! Very subtle. You can even see a hint of blue from the warp core on the far right and far left.

Looks better than my attempt at texturing the warp core! But I tried to imagine the way they lit it in reality, so it was designed to only work from one side, really.

I got about 236 cm. We are within 8 cm of each other. I think that's pretty good! I might cheat mine a bit towards your figure. From inside, it just feels like the place ought to be bigger. But maybe it just looked bigger on TV. I used a combination of actor's known heights to determine scale.

That's awesome! How did you handle the ceiling? When I was doing my research, the only shot of the ceiling was actually an upside-down image of the floor. Also, how tall did you make the arch/door? I'd like to compare scales.

Darn. I was hoping to persuade someone to use the studio model color scheme for once. I tried! Regardless, it will look incredible.

I may be over-geeking. I got really into trying to figure out the colors of the exterior after finding a fantastic 3D fan model online. The materials were very clearly off to my eye, much more gray. I remember in later seasons, when the ship was mostly CG, it looked more gray than blue. So I set out to discover the actual colors used on the physical studio model.

This was a great resource for me, straight from Rick Sternbach: Starshipmodeler.com
Those colors, if looked up using an FS color site (Federal Standard), can be roughly translated to RGB for digital purposes.

Gray Voyager: Trekcore.com
Blue Voyager: Modelermagic.com

I personally like the studio model color scheme better because it serves dual purposes. All you have to do to make the studio model look gray is light it in warm tones. That can't be done very precisely with a gray model to make it look like the original blue.

Awesome! It makes me so happy to see the interiors fitting inside the exterior! Now just one question: Are you a CG grey or a studio model deckhouse blue kind of guy?

Incredible. This is the most extensive and detailed Voyager project I've come across online. Many people are simply reskinning decades old models. But I'm seeing a lot of new geometry here! Your Delta Flyer interior is amazing. Special props for the materials. From your progress updates, your materials are becoming more and more accurate.

I'm an animator with some modeling, rigging, and texturing experience. I would love to contribute to your efforts. If there is any help you need, please contact me.
