I assume you use blender right? If so then to get this shading effect you'll want to go to the Materials Tab and under the Diffuse section, check the box next to the ramp option. More settings should come up along with a box that transparent on the left and white on the right. There are bars on either side of this box, You'll want to move the bar on the right about halfway to the left, and the left bar all the way to the right. Under that is a Input setting, change this to Normal and the Blend mode to Mix or add. And you're done! Once this is done you can change the color and mess with the color box to get the effect you want. Hoped this help. By the way, Thanks for the watch, It helps out the project greatly!
