The Council is going to get culture shocked when they see the UNSC not only liberally using nukes everywhere, but also MAC rounds. In atmosphere.

God, the Halberd-class destroyer looks so much better now!
The force of the cuck is strong with this one.
FDR's death was in 1945, yes, but at the time the calendars hit 1947, he was dead. Do you get the grammar point here, Assassin1775?
>inb4 an SJW comes in here and says this is racist and oppressive
Thanks for this, though.
Ramming through a Covenant Armored Cruiser, destroying an entire fleet and demonstrating human technological superiority.
Also, why would it be ********? The Super-Heavy MACs on the Infinity are more powerful than Orbital Defense Platforms, due to her length and sheer energy generation.
Mass Effect ships can fire from a distance of 10,000 kilometers, in what is considered "long range combat," but their combat is severely restricted by red tape and extraordinarily high heat generation from their weaponry. Several salvos, and that's pretty much it - the ship needs to dump its heat over a gas giant.
Mass Effect's "massive guns" bite only as strong as 2-3 Hiroshima nukes and are severely limited by the amount of heat they generate. In Mass Effect, ships cannot simply discharge heat into space, because they would end up melting their own hull from the outside. They need to pull back from a battle after a few minutes (several main gun salvos), and find a gas giant over which to dump the excess heat. That leaves them extremely vulnerable for a long period of time (the whole overheating, retreating and dumping part).
Battlestar Galactica is the weakest sci-fi universe of all, they only have kinetic artillery, missiles and kiloton-range nuclear weaponry.
And yet, an Autumn-class cruiser can probably waste a flotilla of the CPVs.
Scientists have been monitoring the Milky Way's Supermassive Black Hole for some time now and some stars have been slingshotting around it for a long time already, therefore, things CAN survive around it, granted they get thrown all around due to the gravity.
The Broadsword was developed as a space superiority fighter that could easily enter an atmosphere of a planet if it needs to do so.
But what if he just wants to blow it, man? Don't ruin the young boy's dream!
No pattern is needed, the UNSC is a multi-cultural government that has many different conventions simply merged together into one, unclear one. Learn that.
Infinity - when you want something done right, you call in the big girl with her preference for ramming things and shooting epic guns.
Most likely the CAS-class firing her energy projectors.
It looks... disturbing. (If you know what I mean)
I think I remember you from somewhere, but I don't exactly remember where... was it ROBLOX?
Mass Effect 3 proves you wrong. An Alliance heavy cruiser was able to hover over Vancouver and engage a Reaper. (Contrary to popular belief stating that it was a dread while it wasn't, since dreads have a more distinct nose shape, as well as longer one)
The Turians usually have the superior firepower and the only ones that could outmatch them were Alliance Marines.
Beyond that, it's a serious violation of military doctrine to let a dreadnought steam across space all by itself. It would be the equivalent of letting a US Nimitz-class aircraft carrier steam across the Pacific or Atlantic all by itself, without cruisers, destroyers or submarines to provide protection.
The Batarian race was almost entirely wiped off the face of the galaxy. Only a few representatives remain, as pirates that were on the other side of the galaxy at the time. But the fact remains - most of the Batarians are dead, like, 99% are dead.
Still better frontal armor and armor penetration than a T-34-85.
Just like the AK-47 being ''inspired'' from the Sturmgewehr 44?
My ***.
The USSR was already at a breaking point without Lend-Lease. Had it not been for the spare vehicles and other machinery, as well as American food, boots and fuel, the USSR would've crumbled under the weight of a German revenge machine.
3 months without updates. I'm starting to worry if this mod has been forgotten by the devs or I am missing some important articles out.
I absolutely love the Sangheili Here track, however, I feel as if the mod needs something a bit more UNSC-themed, something filled with testosterone when playing as Humanity... you know, like if SGTMAJ A. J. Johnson was watching over them.
But then again, the current Soundtrack is quite awesome. Keep up the awesome work!
Well, this is a good thing to do. We'll patiently await updates about the status of the mod.
You do remember that cryostasis in Halo decelerates aging to a standstill, don't you? Count in the time Keyes spent flying around the colonies and you'll see that his look is just right.
Looks a bit too old, I'd say. He looks older than Admiral Hood, and Hood is the oldest of the two... at least, judging by Hood's career.
