Holy crap this is cool. This sorta reminds me of the 2000s media tie-in games with how the cutscenes are.

Ah, the classic C&C3; style ION cannon convergence.
Wish there was a way to switch between firing modes for the Ion cannon. I like the C&C3; style, but I also like the Combined Arms version where it fires multiple shots in an area.
Wow. I can't believe it, we are so close to a release after so long.
I never knew DORF is running on OpenRA engine. Now i'm even more hyped for it.
Hey do you know how to change the bug hives spawning of warrior bugs? For me they always pop out 4 at time, trying to figure out how to increase the number.
Trying to mess with the unit files as well. Do you know how to increase the numbers of bugs spawning from the map and from hives?
Anyone getting a lot of stuttering in-game?
I did not expect a mod like this to exist. I gotta try this out.
Its one of the fan-theories of "what actually happened". It wasn't Horus that grievously injured The Emperor, it was Sanguinius. Though as cool as they might be, I still prefer the Emperor vs his fallen son story. Really makes me wonder how the authors are gonna handle that for the Horus Heresy novels since we're getting close.
Flying demons/witches/cultists vs Bi-planes would be cool.
I was about to make a suggestion, then I realized that this was a Homeworld mod and not the Sins of a Solar Empire one lol
But I agree with what osterizer8 said, due to their size, they could be just map scenery similar to the planets and moons from other other mods. Give it some battle-damage to make it look like people are fighting over this ship. Since the mod takes place within the Milky Way, and the Arks were launched just before the Reaper invasion, the scenario could be about overly ambitious pirates trying to take the vessel, Cerberus wanting to hijack one, or It was an Ark that didn't get finished in time and the Reapers were already attacking, you could fight off a small reaper fleet (remember, the big reapers are supposedly hard to kill) and have to fight off wave after wave of the smaller Reaper Destroyers and their Occulus fighters.
"You are soldiers of Gondor. Whatever comes through that gate you will stand your ground"
Ah, the Flying scissors.
So I just got back playing a skirmish mode to test out the mod and I gotta say. Holy ****, I am impressed. And this is only a 0.1 Beta? I cannot wait what you guys have in store in future releases, its already its own game at this point.
Any wads that's similar to this? Doesn't have to be a demonic WW1 setting, I just like the whole, cog-in-a-machine thing, where you're part of an army and you actually have friendly NPC fighting with you.
A shame, the driving looks impressive considering the engine its being used on.
Remember when that Iron Warrior ran under it trying to place some anti-tank explosives only to get crushed by it's gravity?
Which XML file did you edit? Im looking through the config.MEG through the editor, and there's a crap load of XML files.
I never thought of Runescape for a Total War, and yet here it is. The funny thing is, it works, it fits, and its perfect. The low-poly artstyle really works.
Probably because Hong Kong was in british hands for a long while and grew from democracy. It basically became a weird mix of Chinese and British culture. Think of it this way, look at North and South korea, imagine what would happen if, one day, all of a sudden all the northerners moves into south. Its basically that. There is a divide between Hong Kong and Main-Landers culturally.
Love the soviet super-unit. I'm guessing its water-form is a callback to the squid units from RA2?
Holy crap this mod is awesome. The battles feel a lot more grander and you can almost feel the impact of each explosions from V4 rockets or tank shells. You can also play campaign with it, though because of the modifications, its impossible to play most missions, example would be the first soviet mission, the Kirov blowing up messes up the bullfrogs launching and Natasha gets stuck across the river, or the second allied mission where the spies are detected by the tesla coils.
I love how the weapon view models are lowered to resemble halo 1's style. I wish the official MCC pc version actually did it like that instead of raising it, resulting in the weapon taking a good chunk of the view.
Its a flying gun. Well all UNSC ships are basically flying guns. Which I like.
View from top and bottom gives it a silhouette of Halcyon/Marathon-cruisers.
Oh thats cool. The animations are from halo 3, but its cool how you guys were able to add in infected animations.
The ones from spv3 they just turn into a flood like *pop* flood.
