For shields: Tap the special key. Holding the special key will make you defend yourself with your weapon.

Strangely the V9 version of Sgt. Kelly's pack is needed but I have no idea where I used any of his sounds.

I'll investigate this, in the meanwhile try to rename the PackageSounds4 (if you installed Sgt. Kelly's) to PackageSounds3.

Post your ut2004.log maybe it helps me figuring out what the problem is. :)

EDIT: I hope you have the ECE Bonus pack, it's a requirement which is overlooked sometimes...

For you and Jez:
Strange, double check everything. You installed BW2.5 and JunkWar correctly? You really put ALL files in their respective places? Check that again.

You don't need to put them into the JunkWarV25.ini, this .ini just tells you if the box ingame is checked or unchecked, the JunkWar.int is the important one.

If you're missing any BW2.5 files it may not work correctly. Just check if you installed EVERYTHING correctly.

Sadly JW shields aren't made for handguns. This would be a great mod though.

Of course, JunkWar is based on BW, it's fully compatible.
