Have you tried using 7-zip to extract the file? I think it should work.

Okay. I finished the game with the mod, and it was a pretty good experience (besides me playing the game in god mode). There were a few minor issues I came across during my playthrough, but for one modder doing a complete overhaul of the maps, it can be really hard to pull off, but the result of this project was impressive for just one modder. It is a shame that most of the comments were critical about the bugs and issues with this mod that it was decided to be scrapped on ModDB. Although this mod still exists on Gamebanana, I applaud the efforts made on this version of Cinematic Mod for HL2. I know mods like this can be hard to do with just one person. Any modder can strive to create a mod and can have minor issues. Some prefer fixing their mod before release, but releasing the mod with player feedback can be helpful and hurtful at the same time. I get that this mod took time to develop and I am pleased to say that this mod is really good (despite the bugs). Well done, ZMA.
Great mod so far! I am still at the Highway 17 chapter, but I noticed that some of the music and game sounds were slowed down, especially at d2_coast_01 where all the game sounds were especially pitched lower. Then, I realized through the console command that the host_timescale was slowed down to host_timescale 0.85 when that map loaded. So, I fixed it to host_timescale 0.1. I think you will have to take a look at that. And also, for the sewer section with the explosive barrels back in Route Kanal, It was so dark that I got lost trying to find a path forward. I know it is supposed to be realistic, but I think there will be players stuck like me trying to remember to solve the puzzle without the lights in the sewers. Those are my only concerns I have with this mod so far.
Ah, yes! A Steam page for the mod was definitely the best choice. I give my total respect and confidence that the modding team developing the mod makes it worth it in the end. We just all needed patience. Best of luck to the Alive & Kicking team (Rhubarb & Rhubarb).
Pretty interesting port. The only complaint I have is that when I open the Options menu, it opens up SteamVR for some reason.
I see that you have used my Cinematic Mod Chapter Icons and Menu Backgrounds for this fix pack. It's nice to see someone using my work for a UI fix pack. The only problem I have is that for Half-Life 2 Cinematic Mod only, the .vmts for the menu backgrounds in widescreen were set to the standard 4:3 version instead of the widescreen version. You may have to fix that (and also I recently updated my Cinematic Mod chapter icons). Overall, good work.
Hmm. I don't know what this mod's purpose is when MMod is still here: Moddb.com
Best not to know.
I mean, sure. You have to credit the other authors that I credited also. That's all. Go ahead.
Not the Combine, unfortunately, but the other characters like HL1-ish Judith, Alyx, and Gordon Freeman are included.
I know that Decay: Solo Mission is a complete rework of Half-Life: Decay in Singleplayer including maps with more detail and edited map events, but this mod retains most of the original maps from Decay but edited down to have one player now capable of completing a mission without co-op and removes any requirements to unlock future levels that the original Decay port did. Keep up the good work, lymphoid.
I can't wait for an RTX Remaster of Portal: Prelude.
These new Xen designs for Focal Point are absolutely stunning!
Nice upgrade to the animations.
I've since lifted that rule. Now, I won't mind those kinds of comments on ModDB anymore.
It doesn't mean that you can replace the Big Tony's Pizza and Tesla's Tacos signs with the unfiltered ones, but you can just add the unfiltered textures under a different name like "backlit_sign4_unfiltered.vtf" in case people, like me, would like to use it in the future.
Hello. In Living Quarters Outbound, I know that you changed the Canteen signs in Chapter 3 to have filters on them, but I wonder if there is an unfiltered version of Canteen signs 4 and 5. I just want to see the unfiltered version of these two textures and how I can filter it myself.
The Improved Xen maps were outdated as the mod reached 1.0 status when Black Mesa was still at version 1.0. My fix pack doesn't include a fix for this. Sorry.
I see what approach you're going with. Keep going, you're making good progress.
There were some errors when using this pack since the creator wanted me to review this submission even though I didn't want to.
Well, in some large parts of the maps in Echoes kind of lags the audio and slowed down the framerate. My PC is currently a Windows 8.1 Computer updated to the Windows 10 system. I don't know my computer information, but it did have some errors, but I would upgrade my computer to use the Windows 10 (or 11) system with a new computer.
I don't exactly know how though...
It could be a game's or mod's bug, I don't know.
A bit glitchy playthrough (maybe my PC originally a Windows 8.1) with some inaccuracies but I would say that it's good.
Here's my adjusted version of this model:

I did not expect this from you. Great work.
I will consider it. I'm currently not working on anything Echoes related, since I'm mostly focusing on other of my addons that I want to update/release first.
I see that the chapter are posted on the menu, but Chapter 19: Ending should actually be Chapter 19: Endgame (I have seen the Half-Life source and Black Mesa chapter selections and the saved games for this.)

I am a mod creator. I mainly post my Half-Life content on ModDB.
