Humanity is turning its gaze towards space in the near future. A brand-new era has begun - the era of space exploration. When the planets of our solar system were settled, it was time to explore and colonize other worlds and star systems. A once-impossible dream became a reality. As science has reached unprecedented heights, people across the globe have become more united, forgetting about age-old conflicts and feuds.

However, along with great discoveries, new troubles appeared in people's lives. The long- awaited encounters with extraterrestrial civilizations led to a fresh round of conflicts, and the competition for resources and habitable territories further exacerbated differences between species. It did not go unnoticed when a new player appeared on the galaxy map and a large number of bloody wars broke out. A formidable rival is approaching us from the very center of the galaxy. Its power is immeasurable, and its intentions are unknown.

The player will take control of a spaceship as the captain of Space Fleet Command, James Dekker. Together with a team of recruits, on a battle-worn ship, you will look into the most remote corners of the galaxy, engage in fierce space combat, fight with entire fleets, and protect not only the Earth but all of humanity.

A captivating storyline.

Experience a world where moral dilemmas can turn friends and allies into enemies, and utterly devastate worlds. Discover what it means to be in charge of your team from the perspective of a hardened and sometimes cynical war veteran. Build a branching narrative that will determine not only the fate of the main characters, but the survival of the entire universe as well.

Almost seamlessly blending interactive cutscenes with gameplay One Way Road delivers one of the most cinematic, expansive and life-like journeys through the Galaxy war. The game’s on-screen direction will keep you engaged till the end credits roll.

Change the course of the story.

It is up to you and your decisions to determine the fate of humanity. Making a choice can have a significant effect on the outcome of your story both locally and on a global scale.

Progression system.

As you travel, you will earn Experience points that can be used to upgrade your ship's systems and install new equipment. It is up to you to adjust your ship to suit your style of play or to adapt yourself and master your chosen battle tactics.

Explore the galaxy's far reaches.

Engage in space combat and battle on planet surfaces. Drive a spaceship through dense asteroid fields, chase down a hurling comet, or explore a gigantic space station that's full of dark labyrinths.

Gameplay mechanics intertwined.

The game is blending several action mechanics in order to create an action packed space story.

- The Scroll Shooter mode allows you to control a Starfleet heavy cruiser that is powerful enough to take out entire fleets.

- The Top-down Shooter mode puts you in control of a small, nimble space-fighter jet.

- The Tube Shooter mode enables you to chase the enemy, destroying everything that stands in your way.

One Way Road: Firehunt. Introducing the prologue

One Way Road: Firehunt is going to be released very soon. (Exact date will be announced later).

As a prologue to the main story, Firehunt serves as an important narrative component of the game. You will meet the main characters, experience all gameplay mechanics, and receive a small bonus upon completion!

However, before we get into the details, let's check out the prologue gameplay trailer.

Now, for more details:

- The prologue will consist of 5 levels. A total of 4 main levels are included, as well as 1 bonus level that is optional for completion. Completing bonus missions in the full version of the game, will affect the plot and ending.

- The prologue will include all gameplay mechanics, such as:

Scroll Shooter - one of the fundamental mechanics of the game. As a commander, you will be in charge of a space fleet heavy cruiser. Depending on the situation, you may have to fight numerous enemies, face up to a boss, or navigate through dangerous space sectors.

Top down Shooter - you'll take the wheel of a small and agile assault fighter instead of the cumbersome cruiser. Faster gameplay requires lightning-fast reactions.

Tube Shooter - Engage in third-person view pursuits that will see you shooting down both small ships and impressive cruisers, destroying their engines, weapons, and other main systems along the way.

- As you progress through the story, your goal will sometimes depend on which ship you choose to use, the cruiser or the fighter. Thus, you'll be able to switch between Scroll Shooter, Top Down Shooter, or Tube Shooter.

- Leveling system that is divided into three blocks:

With the help of auxiliary systems improvement, you will be able to strengthen the hull of your cruiser; increase the maximum energy or shield reserve, as well as improve the auxiliary turret and stationary drones, which operate automatically.
The Hangar gives you the ability to create and improve unmanned fighters in various ways, from decreasing the time it takes for new fighters to be created, to unlocking new and deadly models.
The Armory allows you to upgrade your cruiser's main guns - the Blaster, Big Bertha, and Shotgun. Unlock burst projectiles or increase the fire rate. Alternatively, you can simply increase damage.

Leveling is practically unlimited, but since each level can only be completed once, experience gained for leveling up can only be obtained once as well, it won't be possible to access all upgrades during the prologue. Moreover, new weapons and perks are unlocked later in the story, after the prologue is completed.

- The prologue's progress is carried over to the main game automatically.

- An added bonus!
As a reward for completing the prologue, you'll receive a unique weapon for your cruiser in the main game. Be sure to check what's inside this glowing box!
