InSomnia is an Atmospheric Single\Coop RPG, set in the dieselpunk, Apocalyptic universe, "Living" open world sandbox & realtime, tactical gameplay. InSomnia will send you into murky retro-futuristic universe of metal jungles permeated by Noir and Dieselpunk. Young "Noman" awakes from the cryogenic sleep on a colossal space station travelling through space for about 400 years to an elusive Point of evacuation, a distant planet, where the residents of the station will be able to revive the mankind. Either way, you will have to survive this tough world to learn the real reason for the mankind to embark on such a risky journey, and how mistaks of the past have influenced the present.
Key Features:
While watching this impressive demonstration of Unreal Engine 4 incredible capabilities we used to breathe life into InSomnia universe you'll be also able to hear an amazing ambient soundtrack recorded for the game recently. This is sort of a meditative experience in the vein of Kubrick's "Space Odyssey" so you might get some extra joy if you are a fan of this classic:
We also made a bunch of additional screenshots to sweeten up this reveal even more. Click for high definition:
So basically this is the current state of space station general look. The main game story will evolve inside this giant floating metropolis. It consists of a few sectors and each one of them will have its own global map.
And in case you've ever wondered how something like this might look in real world, then this photo was taken just for you:
As we've told you before there's an updated InSomnia demo that's being in works for some time now. And we've got a bunch of juicy screenshots to show...

Insomnia RPG has been included in SO NOT LAME TV's monthly must have of August 2015.
What's that insanely large drawing about that looks like a circuit board (In the KS video)? I'd really like to know, because it looks damn interesting (reminds me of Frank Miller ~ Ronin stuff).
All the artwork and drawings are really unique. I'm glad your Kickstarter is working out!
Here's my first look into the Playable Demo Youtube.com
Oh my god this looks crazy good!
Tracking!
Do a kickstarter, your game looks good. Lots of Fallout 1-2 nostalgia.
They did before, they get only 5k when they needed 70k
they canceled first kickstarter after week, this was a first try. Now this team use all expirience of the first KS and work hard for new step in kickstarter.
This looks like a game that will definitely get me back into these kind top-down RPG's.
Any plans of releasing a beta or demo as the development cycle progresses?
We have a presentation scene right now ... think we will releas it in few days ... and we are working on playable demo, but i will not tell you any date... hope it will be in very close future.
Fair enough. I will eagerly await this demo!
