"Z Warrior Chronicles" is an independent project being worked on by Xatoku based off of the popular Dragonball Z franchise by Akira Toriyama. This project has been going since early April 2011, and has gone through many revisions along the way, but the story elements are now being worked on and progress is booming. The aim of this project is to emulate the Dragonball Z world in an Action/RPG type scenario, and tell the story of the Z Fighters as best it can. The gameplay is best described as a combination of Legacy of Goku 2 & Dragonball Z Sagas on the GBA & PS2 respectively, along with a ton of Anime inspired gameplay elements as well. Production is naturally at a slow but steady pace due to the development team being only me, but I've invested all of my free time into this project and have no intention on stopping any time soon.
Just testing out the new cutscene system. Enjoy!
This is awesoooooooooooome :)
Very good :)
Keep up :D
Bravo! Extremely well done Xatoku.

awesome but ,think you can make a japanese version ? because the japanese voices are better.
no, they are not...
(Flame War Begin!)
Depends on where you're from, really. Eventually, I'm open to the idea of me releasing a list of English quotes, and then a translator sending me back the new ones in Japanese. Then the same for the audio dialogue. Then the job of allowing you to switch between them is easy. I'm just not experienced enough with the language to go about writing all of the dialogue for it =P.
keep up :D
Well he'd better be from Japan then! :P
trolololol
It may be wise to allow some button to automaticly move forward with the conversation if someone doesnt want to push the button every few seconds.
The animation, whole clip will look more smooth...
Forgot to menttion it before:)
There's a timer on each piece of dialogue so if you don't press the button 2 seconds after it finishes, it continues.
Still I would rather watch the whole animation than wait those 2 seconds...
But keep up,there is still some parts of animation that need work(I think some animations are set to loop and it looks ugly for 2 seconds or so,until animation proceds)
Good luck :D
Well they loop atm because if I were to ditch the 2-second wait (which I am thinking of doing), and forcing people to have to press space to proceed, then the animations will have to hold out until the user decides to continue. That's my philosophy at least, but thanks for the tips.
It's definitely a tricky balance, but as long as they're easy to make and people don't get too distracted while watching them, I'm satisfied.
Pretty impressive man.
COOOOOOOOOOL!
the song remember the name by fort minor must be all about you cause ur a one man army and doing ******* well i must say
